JOBS MAY BE HARDER TO COME BY ON GLOBAL SLOWDOWN, AUTOMATION

According to Manpower survey, India's net employment outlook has been on a downward slide for the past few quarters and situation in April-June period is unlikely to be any different as companies battle business uncertainties.
Globally, however employers in only three other countries - Taiwan, Japan, Slovenia - of the 43 surveyed report more optimistic second quarter hiring plans than those in India.
In the current situation, companies do realise the need to embrace digital transformation and it is important for Indian
employers to redefine their workforce strategies and adopt innovation way to leverage the strength of people and stay competitive.
